Uliza Clinicians' HIV Hotline
FACES is introducing a toll-free telephone consultation service to give support to the health care workers who provide HIV care.
Objectives:
- Provide accessible expert HIV advise to care providers, via a telephone consultation service
- Ensure that the service provides accurate and up-to-date information, by implementing a quality assurance monitoring system and by involving consultants in continuing medical education.
This service will utilize the widespread cellular phone coverage as an appropriate, low cost technology to expand the reach of HIV experts and the range and depth of care.

the Bixby Center for Reproductive Health Research and Policy, and
the Kenya Medical Research Institute
